Manny and his team are amazing! I thought I needed to give up my nice couch, but he and one other teammate were able to hoist it through a balcony in no time. It was a very heavy couch, and the whole process only took about an hour. And the price was 1/2 or in some cases 1/3 of what other movers quoted me.
I never write reviews, but he is just such a good deal and very reliable.

Manny was amazing including the men who works with him!!!! So professional he saved my life! I thought I would have to buy a new couch could get it in but he hoist my couch up got it in less than 30 minute wrapped it so well. I will be using him for everything and GREAT PRICE THANKS MANNY !!!!

Manny and his team are the absolute best. The couch I ordered was a little too big for the elevator so I called Manny and he was the only company willing to came out to inspect the move. He drove all the way to Downtown, told me how it would be done, and how much. What I expected to be a 3-5 hour move was only half that time and my couch got delivered in perfect condition. Great company, great owner, will definitely use them again when I move out!

This will go like the other reviews here, I purchased a couch from living spaces that I measured and "should" have fit but the movers were completely incompetent. They gave up on my couch and I thought I was going to have to eat the cost and strike this up to a loss.
Then I did some searching on yelp for "couch doctors" a very common thing in NYC but not out here. I came across Manny and read the reviews and knew this was the guy for the job. This was no cakewalk, I barely had enough room to get this up to my balcony from an alley and in the sliding glass door....I'm talking mm's here. Manny worked with my crazy schedule and getting the couch redelivered and his team on site the same day. These guys did not give up until the couch was in my living room, great professional guys and well worth the price. I would recommend them to anyone in need of this service. Still amazed they got it done and I have been enjoying my sectional ever since.

Manny and Orlando SAVED my couch! I hired a moving company "Moving Packing Services, movingpacking.org" to handle my move and they could not get my couch through the door, after 1.5 hrs of trying. I suggested hoisting and they had no clue how to do it. They left the job undone and I thought I was going to have to sell my couch. That's when I discovered MannyDeliveryService! They're located in Santa Monica but came out to Long Beach the next day, without charging mileage. They came to my rescue and hoisted my couch up to my 2nd floor patio and did it in less 10 minutes! They wrapped the couch, even put the legs and the cushions on in about 30 minutes! They are so professional. Manny didn't even start the job until he checked the patio doors dimensions and looked at the couch to be sure the job could be done with just 2 men. He also videos the whole process and takes pics. This a family owned business and they charge 50% less than other bigger companies. I received quotes from mostly all of them. They are also very courteous, compassionate and hard-working. You would be a fool to go anywhere else. (This is an honest review. Not paid.)

Manny came on short notice to help hoist our couch over the balcony of our apartment as it did not fit through our door. He was efficient, kind, and reassuring - and the best part is that he was very affordable. My apartment mates and I will definitely use his services again when we need to move and transport heavy furniture!

Manny and his crew were efficient and professional. He showed up early and was eager to find creative ways to hoist a 96" Sofa and 143" TV Cabinet over a balcony onto the 2nd floor. He is professional and very careful when handling expensive furniture. No scratches, no damage on the house and the boys were strong & fast. His crew unwrapped all the furniture and hauled away the trash. They were totally accommodating and you feel that they really care. His pricing is fair, and he gets it done! Will definitely use MDS again.

FANTASTIC!! I'm a single 40-something female who lives alone and needed help getting a recently purchased sofa from the store to my home. After reading the wonderful reviews, I booked just 3 days prior, settled on a flat fee, and confirmed 24hrs before ALL VIA TEXTING w/Manny--always receiving a prompt reply...he was most accomodating in making the time of day that I needed happen (morning, before I needed to be at work). This morning Manny and his sidekick met me right on time, 10am at Santa Monica's Pier One Imports (Pier One does not deliver furniture) when the store opened. I was inside the store and had missed his text letting me know he was at the store's loading dock and I almost missed him if it weren't for the store mgr telling me that my sofa had been loaded on the truck already as he was asking me to sign-off on the paperwork. I ran to the loading doc and was greeted by Manny with his cheerful smile, happy attitude AND my sofa already loaded onto his truck. I had them follow me the 3 miles to my home via quicker back streets. They carefully unloaded my sofa and carried it up one flight of stairs to my 2nd floor apt and asked me where I'd like the sofa placed. Without me having to ask, they REMOVED the store cardboard and plastic the sofa came wrapped in and took it to THEIR TRUCK (not MY trash cans). I hadn't noticed initially, but they'd also brought upstairs with them a bag containing power tools and they offered/insisted attaching the sofa legs (even with my boyfriend standing right there ready to do it himself). They then placed my sofa where I wanted it, they checked for any residual debris, I paid them cash and off they went. I wouldn't hesitate to phone Manny again!!

I've used him countless times when needing things delivered and moved. He's fairly priced, and reliable, I would recommend him in a heartbeat! MDS also offers hoisting, definitely a live saver for those pesky furniture items that just won't fit through your door. Let him make your next move quick, friendly, and painless :)

Wow!! How amazing is Manny! I made an appointment with him to pick up a sofa bed at 10 am. He was absolutely on time at the seller's house. I, however, was 40 minutes late because - when I went to the bank to get cash- I discovered that I had lost my driver's license and debit card. (It turned out I had left them last night at a restaurant 20 miles away but that is the end of the story.) Manny did not know me at all but he volunteered to take a check for his reasonable fee. He and his assistant Enrique efficiently moved a heavy sofa bed out of the seller's place and were waiting for me when I arrived at my house. I had suggested that they enter through french doors. When they discovered that one door was stuck, they took it off the hinges, cleaned and sanded the floor area where it had stuck, and put it back on the hinges. (I learned that Manny likes to do handyman projects too.) In the end they didn't even use that entrance, but my doors move beautifully and they did not even charge me. They moved a very heavy old sofa bed out of my house and quickly moved in the new one. I will be calling Manny next weekend for another moving project. Now rather than hesitating to get great deals on craigslist, I will know that Manny can move anything for me. As a teacher I give MDS an A+++!

When the Restoration Hardware delivery team started talking about needing a crane to get the bookshelf I ordered into my second story living room - I was a little anxious to say the least (read: $$$$). After making a few inquiries, I found Manny and his glowing Yelp reviews. I explained the situation, and he said he'd come by that same day to give an estimate. 5 stars go to Manny and his team for the care they took in wrapping and blanketing all my furniture and for the impressive job they did hoisting this 150lbs bookshelf through my second story balcony door. The whole move took about an hour, and cost less than the original delivery earlier that day :)

Who Needs A Man When You Can Have Manny ?! After I worked with Manny just a couple of times, I have emailed all my single girlfriends -- and gay male friends (!) -- about his services. Not only is he professional, fast and very good as both a handyman (the guy can do basically anything around the house) and a mover, but he is honest, kind, well-spoken, and conscientious. For a youngish man he is very old school (!), AND he's reasonable. A rare find for sure.

Manny and his team are fantastic. I had a large sleeper sofa that the delivery company could not get up the stairwell to our 2nd floor unit. I then looked into hoisting companies to get the sofa up via our balcony. I called 5 or 6 companies and Manny was the most reasonably priced, flexible and confident that he'd get the job done. He efficiently wrapped and protected the sofa and the railing to our balcony. He removed the sleeper portion with ease to make the sofa lighter. The hoisting went smoothly and the couch was reassembled in my living room in no time. From start-to-finish, the process took less than an hour. Thanks Manny!

Manny and Tony are the best! The whole communication process was so quick and easy, it literally took Manny like a minute to schedule my appointment. They came just on time this morning (Saturday), and took about an hour and half they finished everything I needed to be moved. Bed frame, mattress, table, rack and etc. After they look at the place I'm moving into, they told me they can move my furnitures the way they are so takes less time, and they did! Manny even fixed one of my table, and did some extra works for no complaints! Btw they are really nice people! I definitely will refer them to anyone! Thank you for what you've done today! :)

Manny is literally a magician. He worked some sort of magic to make my giant couch fly in through my window. He even took the hundred year old grate off the front of my building and then put it back on! And the front feet of the couch were a bit scuffed (NOT from Manny, obviously) so he took them off and switched them with the back. Truly some of the best money I've ever spent. Don't use anyone else - Manny and his guys are the absolute best in Los Angeles.

We hired Manny to move several heavy, awkward items to our roofdeck in June 2018 and he was amazing. He came out the day after I called to measure and evaluate the items that had to be moved to give me a bid. When we agreed to the price he and his partner arrived the following day right on time and did a great job. They took such care wrapping every item, negotiated a difficult staircase, and got everything up to our deck in an unbelievably short time. Manny worked hard, charged a fair price, and did exactly what we needed him to do.

I called Manny on a Thursday to haul away the lawn layer that I removed from my backyard to make place for a vegetable patch. Although not the kind of work he usually does, Manny showed up at the scheduled time and worked tirelessly with a helper to load the sod; they even scrapped the earth from the roots of the grass which was way beyond what I asked; they even racked the earth and cleaned before leaving. Manny is very professional, friendly, and meticulous; I can't recommend him enough.

Just want to post a review about how great the service was from start to finish. When I requested a quote he responded within the hour. I had bought a sofa bed that was too large to get up my stairway because of the clearance, and needed it to go through the top balcony through some sliding glass doors. The doors had to be taken off in order to get the couch through. I almost thought it was hopeless, but I spoke to Manny and he came over the very next day to inspect the job. He made an appointment the same week. Because of the difficulty of the job, Manny arranged for another person to come. I also would like to say that Manny was extremely professional and kind. Immediately I felt I could trust him. He took the mechanism out of the couch, hauled it outside, took off both of the sliding doors, and with the help of his friend lifted the couch through the open doorway of the balcony. It was quite impressive. He then proceeded to put back together the sofa, made sure the sliding glass doors and plantation shutters were put back and working as they were. He was very reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done. I was extremely satisfied with his work, his attitude, and I would definitely hire him for another job in the future. He just seems like a really nice guy. So if you are looking for a complicated project, he is definitely your guy. Will definitely be referring him to all of my friends.

Manny hoisted an outdoor couch to our third level rooftop deck. He was fast and very careful to make sure nothing was damaged in the process (roof tiles). He was also less than every other quote. Can't recommend him enough!
